Familial brings together fourteen artists from different generations, backgrounds and creative practices. The exhibition looks at the relationships that shape who we are and how we make things. Exploring themes of family, friendship, memory and the ways ideas and creative influences are passed between people. Some artists collaborated with family members or close friends, while others reflect on the people and experiences that have shaped them. Familial offers a unique look at connection, shared stories and the ways creativity can be passed from one person to another.
